§ 44-192. Salvage yards.

  • All salvage yards shall conform to the following requirements:

    (1)

    All materials stored outside shall be enclosed within a solid, unpierced fence or wall at least eight feet in height, and not less in height than the materials. All gates, doors, and access ways through said fence or wall shall be of solid, unpierced materials. In no event shall any stored materials be in the area between the lines of said lot and the solid, unpierced fence or wall.

    (2)

    All ingress or egress shall be limited to one entrance to a paved road.

    (3)

    On the lot on which a salvage yard is to be operated, all roads, driveways, parking lots, and loading and unloading areas shall be paved, so as to limit the nuisance caused by windborne dust on adjoining lots and public roads.
