§ 6.5. Treasurer.

(a)

The treasurer shall have the custody of all monies of the city and all evidences of value belonging to or held in trust by the city.

(b)

The treasurer shall keep and deposit all monies or funds in such manner and only in such places as the council may designate.

(c)

The treasurer shall have such powers and duties in regard to the collection and custody of state, county, school district and city taxes and monies as are conferred by law.

(d)

The treasurer shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by law or by the council, and by the city manager with the approval of the council.
